A Home Away from Home
Enrolling your little one into childcare can be a big decision and one that is often very emotional. Our team understand that navigating the transition to childcare can be challenging for you both.
Your child may have separation anxiety issues, and you may feel overwhelmed with the proposition of leaving them in the care of others.
Our empathetic team are acutely aware of this and will work closely with you to ensure the transition is as sensitive, stress-free and seamless as possible.
Indoor Environment
Our indoor play zones are modern, engaging and filled with lots of natural light and ventilation.
They are also filled to the brim with resources that will inspire and delight your little one. In these spaces, they will discover their abilities, interests and limitations.
They will investigate, imagine, explore, build their vocabulary and learn new knowledge and skills.
And they will learn how to connect to their thoughts and feelings and get along with others, including their carers and their new playmates.
Outdoor Environment
Our outdoor play areas are natural, diverse and challenging and encourage children to recognise and negotiate risk.
The unique mix of natural and constructed features includes lots of lush greenery, log stone steppers, teepees, a play fort, a sandpit, a water play creek with a bridge and boulders, and a bike track with lots of interactive experiences.
Combine these with lots of sunshine, fresh air, love, laughter, friends and adventures and your little one will create memories that will last a lifetime.
Learning Environment
Our programs, resources and equipment suit children of all ages and revolve around natural, play-based learning which includes lots of indoor and outdoor playtime, sensory, tactile and creative play, and activities that develop their physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language skills.
Play-based learning is a key factor of the National Quality Framework (NQF) for early childhood education and care.
It allows children to explore, discover, negotiate, take risks, create meaning and solve problems.
Healthy Meals
Healthy eating in childhood reduces your child’s chance of developing health problems as they get older. A balanced diet includes foods from all five food groups – fruit, vegetables, grains, dairy and proteins.
Meals at our Centre are provided by a professional catering service and prepared by our team on-site. This enables us to manage individual children’s allergies and food requirements.
Our menus include fresh, wholesome, tasty and nutritional ingredients to keep active little ones full of energy!
Qualified Educators
Our team are professionally trained with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, a Blue Card and First Aid Training. Team leaders also have an additional Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Our team also follow several principles in line with industry standards, including the Early Years Learning Framework, QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, the National Quality Standards, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics.
