Our centre is open from 7am to 6pm, providing flexible care options for busy families. We offer 3 sessions to assist with CCS hours. These sessions are listed below:

  • 9 Hours (8:00am – 5:00pm)
  • 10 Hours (7:30am – 5:30pm)
  • 11 Hours (7:00am – 6:00pm)

We do not charge an enrolment fee, however we ask that the first 2 weeks are paid upfront, and that moving forward, fees are paid one week in advance.

At Evolving Minds, we hire both permanent and casual team members. Our approach is designed to provide children with as much consistency in their educators as possible while ensuring ample support for our team. By employing both permanent and casual staff, we’re able to maintain reliable coverage that allows our dedicated educators the flexibility to take personal or sick days when needed. This balanced staffing approach supports the well-being of our team while creating a stable, nurturing environment for your child.

Yes, we recommend spending a couple of hours with us prior to your child’s first day. These sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for both you and your child to explore the environment, meet our educators, and begin to feel a sense of belonging within our community. It’s a great way to ease the transition and help everyone feel comfortable and connected from the beginning.

We ask that parents pack the following items for your child:

  3. Appropriate Outdoor Clothing: Depending on the weather, remember to send your child with appropriate clothing, such as jackets, socks etc.
  4. Sheet and Blanket: Provide a cot sheet and blanket in a sleep bag or pillowcase for your child’s comfort during nap time.
  5. Hat: Ensure your child has a broad brimmed hat to protect against the sun.
  6. Underwear / Nappy Pants (if applicable): If your child is undergoing toilet training, please provide at least 5 sets of nappy pants/underwear.

Additional Items for Children Under 3:

  1. Bottles and Formula/Breast Milk: If your child is bottle-fed, please remember to pack bottles, formula/breast milk, and possibly a trainer cup if used at home.
  2. Dummy (if used for nap time): If your child uses a dummy for nap time, please provide it in a sealed container for hygiene reasons.

While we don’t offer breakfast, children in our care will receive morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and have access to a fruit basket as they are picked up in the afternoon/evening.
